The champion of seasonal food takes time out from presenting his BBC2 series to promote his book in Plymouth on August 7.

Valentine will be signing copies of What to Eat – More Please at Waterstone's Drake Circus, from 5pm.

The energetic chef's mission is to get us eating what is freshest and best at the right time of year. What to Eat Now – More Please is published by Mitchell Beazley (£20).
