Van blaze in Plymouth tackled by firefighters using foam
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blazing van which caught fire in a Southway street.
It is believed the engine of the white Ford transit became engulfed in flames at around 11.30am yesterday in Southway Drive.

A fire appliance from Camels Head station was called to the scene to tackle the blaze using compressed air foam.
Crew manager Simon Carey, of white watch, said the van was "totally destroyed" by the fire.

He added: "The male driver was given oxygen as he inhaled a bit of smoke. Other than that he was okay."
The road was closed down for a short time while firefighters dealt with the blaze, but by 12.55pm the road was fully re-opened.
