Vintage Fair brings good old days to Plymouth Guildhall
The first Plymouth Vintage Fair brought back the days of yesteryear to Plymouth Guildhall. 65 stalls selling clothes, home wares, furniture and lots more from the 1920's onwards took part in the event which saw big crowds from the morning.
"We have had 650 people come through the doors in the early hours of the event and we are hoping for up to 2000 by the end of the day," organiser Jo Macaskie said.
"The retro and vintage wave has been going on for a while, but it is the first time there is a vintage fair in Plymouth. It gives people a chance to go back in time. Personally, I just really like the older style better," she added.
The event also featured live music by 'Just Misbehavin', who played swing music while dancers performed, a vintage catwalk, demos, tearoom and lots more.

One of the stalls belonged to Annterior, a Plymouth based shop selling vintage wares.
"Vintage furniture and clothes give you a feeling of something unique and a feeling of identity. It has been a big success in London for years and is now hitting all parts of the country. I do not see why Plymouth could not become a regional hub for vintage and retro fashion," Sara Bunbury from Annterior said.
Is the event is a success, Jo Macaskie is hoping to plan a similar one in March 2013.
