Vintage romantic theme
CARRIE and Mark were married at Emmanuel Church Plymouth followed by a reception at the beautiful St Elizabeth's House at Plympton.
The atmosphere.... Carrie and Mark wanted a church wedding and were married at Emmanuel Church on June 16, 2012. The church was decorated with large pedestal arrangements and pew ends.
The wedding breakfast then followed at the stunning venue of St Elizabeth's House which was the perfect setting for Carrie and Mark. The venue has five acres of sweeping lawns which provided the most fantastic photographic opportunities combined with the charm of a Georgian manor house which fitted exactly with the vintage romantic theme they wanted to achieve.
The look... The vintage romantic theme was created by using a large number of roses in nude tones, the palest pink and champagne colours. Everything was themed from the decoration of the church and venue down to the earrings that Carrie wore.

The details... Carrie's bridal bouquets were created using Quick Sand, Sweet Avalanche, and David Austin's Keira roses, finished in antique ivory ribbon. The venues were decorated with a mixture of pale pink peonies and a range of different shades of roses to keep the romantic vintage theme running throughout the wedding.
The tables were decorated with vintage glass pedestals. Each arrangement was slightly different but looked beautiful. Carrie found a picture of a cake in a wedding magazine that was just perfect and Centerpiece Cakes created a similar design to fit in perfectly with the theme. It looked and tasted amazing and Flowers by Amanda decorated the cake with roses.
My favourite moment... The church service itself and when Mark and I had a few minutes to take everything in when just the two of us were having our photos taken around the beautiful grounds at St Elizabeth's House.
