Wear it red for Valentine's
A PLYMOUTH heart charity is urging fundraisers to 'Wear it Red' this Valentine's Day.
HeartSWell South West, a local charity which supports Derriford Hospital heart patients, their partners and their carers, is encouraging city residents to wear red clothing on February 14.
This year will be the charity's eighth Wear it Red day and it is asking businesses and schools to take part.
Supporters can wear as little or as much red clothing as they want for a suggested contribution of £1.

“Please support this worthwhile local charity and WEAR RED to raise funds for HeartSWell. We all seem to have either a close family member, friend suffering with heart problems. HeartSWell raises funds for essential life saving cardiac equipment for NHS hospitals, which they cannot afford to buy.”
