Western Power engineer dies while working in Cawsand, near Plymouth

A WESTERN Power engineer has died while working in Cawsand in South East Cornwall.

Officers from the Health and Safety Executive will carry out and investigation in the morning into the man's death, which happened late last night.

Police were called by paramedics to the scene in Pier Lane.

It is believed the engineer may have fallen as a pole collapsed while he was working on it.

The man was 30 and from Grampound.
