PLYMOUTH Paralympian David Wetherill hopes to 'embrace' the atmosphere at the Games in London which begin tomorrow.

The 22-year-old (above) from Woolwell Table Tennis Club will not attend tonight's opening ceremony (8.30pm) because he is in action on day one tomorrow.

Wetherill goes in the preliminaries (11.40am) of the table tennis men's singles.

He said of home support in London: "I want to embrace it. I want to see people in the crowd going nuts."
