Whitleigh attack on teenage girl sees police appeal for good Samaritan motorist
A GANG of thugs attacked a teenage girl as she was walking along a Whitleigh road.
The 17-year-old was in Milford Lane at the junction of Lakeview Close at around 3pm on Monday, February 18 when she was accosted by a group of both young men and women.

Police say they blocked her path before two young men grabbed hold of her and hit her in the face and arm.
The group fled when a man driving a silver Vauxhall motor vehicle shouted at them. The girl suffered a superficial cut to her face and head.

“I used to live in Lake View Drive years ago ,the residents of Whitleigh used to get the blame for all the break-ins around there,mine was broken into from Milford lane at the time and so was my neighbours garage which was underneath the house,he was in bed at the time and looked out and someone running away with his bench drill..!”
