Witness plea as man is bailed in aggravated vehicle taking probe
A MAN has been bailed by police investigating reports of an aggravated vehicle taking.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the alleged crime, which was said to have taken place at 6.05am on Monday, September 10, in Milford lane in Whitleigh.
Officers say a silver Ford Galaxy people carrier may have been taken without the owner's consent.
The vehicle was discovered by police at 6.15am on the same morning after the vehicle was involved in a collision in Tamerton Foliot Road, close to the Cann Nursing Home, causing damage to the front of the car, a police spokesman said.

A 17 year-old from Plymouth has been arrested in connection with the alleged incident. He was later bailed until November 13.
