Woman banned from showing her breasts is caught on CCTV
A WOMAN banned from baring her breasts has admitted indecently exposing herself.
Jane Taylor, aged 46, was caught by CCTV cameras in Stonehouse, a court heard.

Taylor admitted breaching an Anti-Social Behaviour Order on May 22.
Eoin McCarthy, for the Crown Prosecution Service, said Taylor was given an order banning her from indecently exposing herself in public and specifically from baring her breasts.

He added CCTV cameras caught Taylor exposing herself in front of a man in Phoenix Street at about 2pm.
Mr McCarthy said: "By all accounts the man had propositioned her. He bolted before police arrived."
John Haythorne, for Taylor, said the man had invited her to expose herself.
He added: "She is a simple soul and has a very limited ability to understand what goes on."
Mr Haythorne said she had already been to prison for a previous breach of the order.
But he added she had been given a place at The Ship Hostel in George Place, Stonehouse, where she had a key worker.
Presiding magistrate Hazel Poad told Taylor: "The good thing in your favour is that you did not hurt anyone. You have been out of trouble for quite a while."
Taylor was fined £100 and ordered to pay £15 victim surcharge.
But the penalties were waived because she had spent almost 24 hours in custody.

“Strange that she was arrested at all as this sort of exposure is commonplace all over Plymouth! I was walking through a local park a couple of weeks ago during the warm weather and a young girl was sitting topless with her boyfriend on the grass. I visited a local beach recently and a great many women and girls were sunbathing topless also saw a woman sitting in Plymouth City Centre feeding her baby and exposing quite a lot of breast in the process - what level of exposure warrants "indecent" exposure. No-one was taking any notice of these other women who were at public places with children present - strange to me that she was arrested in the first place for something which is quite a common occurence nowadays.”

“She wasn't sent to prison, she had two fines both of which were dropped due to time in custody.
She had to be arrested and prosecuted because she broke the terms of her asbo...

“This story highlights the need for diversion and liason schemes to be available in all areas of the country. How can you justify prosecuting a woman who clearly needs help due to a medical problem for something that was not dangerous?”

“I agree with whinger - why not some give the poor lady some help rather than prosecute her?”

“Putting humour aside, this case highlights the stupidity of so called "British Justice", smash someone in the face, destroy peoples property, starve animals to death, on and on it goes with a pat on the head and a suspended sentence, this woman clearly has a problem and she gets prison, what a sick and unjust society we are.”

“Maybe the key worker at the Ship needs to try and get more "support" for her/his client. Every one has the right to live with dignity and in a safe environment, sounds like this lady has needs more complex than just lack of housing, and peeps who support the most vulnerable in Plymouth get their heads together, to identify and fund a more appropriate location than a red light district for a women who is very vulnerable.”
