Woman was chased down road by ex-partner in breach of order
A MAN chased his ex-partner down the street in breach of a restraining order, city magistrates heard.
Leonard Small, 34, pursued the woman as she tried to run away, the court was told.
Small, of Valletort Place, Stonehouse, admitted pursuing and harassing his ex-partner in breach of a restraining order on September 3.
Angela Furniss, for the Crown Prosecution Service, said CCTV operators spotted Small and the woman at about 3.30pm at the junction of Stonehouse Street and Millbay Road.

She added: "The female appeared to be trying to run away from the male, who kept pursuing her."
Mrs Furniss said police attended and detained Small.
Ken Papenfus, for Small, said CCTV footage showed the incident started with the woman following him and he initially turned away.
He added she appeared to be showing him a mobile phone.
Mr Papenfus said Small could not recall the conversation, but the footage showed her apparently trying to take the phone away.
He added: "She then jogs away, with him jogging after her."
Magistrates ordered a full report on Small's background before sentence on October 9.
He was released on condition he does not contact the woman, remains at his current address, does not enter Cornwall and reports to police once a week.
