“This accident isnt a laughing matter really is it... my friend nearly died in this accident and it sadens me to see people see this as an oppertunity to "crack a joke". For all interested all party members are ok. It was caused by a blowout and car done 180 on road and spun into fast lane. My friend thanks all the passer bys for stopping and assisting.”

“Eric you really are a sad individual....let me just remind you about your first comment on this story...
In order to please the female readers of the paper ... can you please say this was a male ? thanks .... NOT FUNNY!!
a 19 year old woman suffered terrible injuries and you think its right to make these comments? yes we are entitled to freedom of speech but there is a time and place, this is not it!! Gypsy sites/university degrees?? HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS STORY!!
and any gripe you have with the government take it up somewhere else..put your time(which you obviously have plenty of) & effort into wishing this poor woman and family well....people like you make me sick, and i'd so love to meet you in person! not sure you'd be so "mouthy" then? think before you speak...and get a life outside "cyber space" you reall are getting boring now!!”

“or another way of looking at it is .... do you honestly think that they have kept a full staff at the herald in the last few days for our benefit ? or left a few idiots in charge .. ? suddenly the news has died ? call me mr cynical ......”

“Also ... as is usual the herald take away thre comments from anything to do with gypsys or "travellers" ... why is that we all wonder ? ( not ) ... Herald .. dont you realise that we all notice that ? month after month ? and you think it makes things better ? Wrong !!!!!!!!! It just makes people more infuriated they can get their tax paying , law abiding point accross !!!! ... while you hide the views of the public you make it worse ... freedom of the press? no chance - you camreout of university with a degree that makes you nothing but a puppet of the government !!!!!!!!”

“I feel free to make adverse comments because I have also suffererd and still suffering... a few years later. I am not one of those who have never suffered ... hence the cynical nature of my comments .... I am not unaware of the pain involved ... but by heck I know that trying to hide the funny side doesnt help either ... perverse ? yep ... but just call it the english spirit . ! . We cant all avoid comments or laughing at tings that happen to us all and be censored because something happened to someone down the road ... get used to it !!!!!!”
