The collision happened at the junction of Manadon roundabout and Mannamead Road.

The court heard the single issue in the case was the colour of the traffic lights when the tipper lorry crossed the junction.

French, who appeared wearing a dark grey sleeveless jumper and a long brown skirt, was released on unconditional bail pending a three day trial set to begin on February 4, 2013.
