Woman stuck in Dartmoor snow for three hours
An 18-year-old woman was stuck in the snow on Dartmoor for three hours after falling and hurting her ankle.
The teenager went onto Dartmoor with friends to sledge in the snow.

She slipped, twisting her ankle and had to be rescued by Dartmoor Rescue Group from Poundsgate - between Princetown and Ashburton.
A group spokesman said the young woman was suffering from mild hypothermia by the time she was rescued.

“Dartmoor rescue really? She twisted her ankle so why couldn't her friends help her hop back? Kids of today have no steel within in this candy coated society we live in. I'm sure she would of made it back if she found out no hope was coming”
