Woman sustains head injuries in Lostwithiel single car crash
A young woman was taken to hospital with serious head injuries after her car crashed near Lostwithiel last night.
The woman was travelling in the direction of Truro on the A390 when her car left the road at Fairy Cross just after the Texaco garage on Lostwithiel Hill just before 8.30pm.

Fire services were called to cut the woman free and she was transported to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth.
The road has been closed overnight in both directions and police have confirmed it will remain closed until at least 3pm today while investigations are carried out.
