Woman trapped in lift at Plymouth hospital
A woman was trapped in a lift at Derriford Hospital, Plymouth, this afternoon.
Emergency services were called by staff and two fire appliances from Crownhill and Greenbank were mobilised. On arrival at the scene the crews isolated the lift and were able to quickly release the woman, unhurt.

“not being picky but aint being "shut" in a lift with not being able to open the doors the same as being trapped?
and also it aint really newsworthy lol”

“Well it would be newsworthy if the headline matched the incident. In my days of the Fire Service there was a clear diference between "Person Shut in a Lift" and "Person Trapped in a Lift"
The report actually fails to make it clear which one truely fits but I bet a pound to a penny it is the former.”
