Young Argyle prospect makes early impression on Sheridan
PROMISING young Plymouth Argyle striker Tyler Harvey has already caught the eye of new manager John Sheridan.
Harvey has returned to training this week after a calf injury, which he suffered in the 1-0 home defeat by Wycombe Wanderers on December 29.
The 17-year-old apprentice had made his full debut three days earlier, and scored a late equaliser in the 1-1 draw with visiting Torquay United.
Sheridan told Herald Sport: "He has trained the last two days. I like the look of him. I'm not bothered if they are 16, 17 or 18. If I feel he's good enough I will throw him in."

The Pilgrims' boss had hoped to make three loan signings before the visit of Morecambe to Home Park on Saturday.
That has proved harder than expected, but Sheridan revealed one new player was set to train with the rest of the Argyle squad tomorrow and he was working hard on trying to secure other recruits.

“We are a L2 club now and currently not a very successful one and miles off the beaten track with no airport, so we cannot really expect an infux of world beaters.
As far as Harvey goes I don't want to see him disappear back into the youth team, he's made too much progress for that. It's good that Sheridan has noted Tylers qualities”

“Murray should fit right in; we specialise in non-scoring strikers! I had hoped for something a bit more exciting.”

“But he does not have a good scoring record.....even in the lower divisions :-( Not so much a striker more of an attacker...?”
