A BIG youth event is to take place in the city centre on Saturday.

One Big Saturday 2009 will take place in the piazza between 10am and 4pm.

The event will mark National Youth Work Week and will include live music by local bands in the marquee.

Activities on offer include a bucking bronco and Sumo wrestling, and there will be a mobile skate park.

Entry is free and there will be an opportunity for young people to win gift vouchers during the event. First prize will be £100, second prize £50 and third prize £20.
