The day coincided with the nursery's current topic of healthy eating.
Teacher Bev Driffield said: "Helping children to understand the importance of a healthy and balanced diet is part of everyday life in our nurseries. Shrove Tuesday is a perfect opportunity to let our children experiment with food and learn new flavours while having fun."
