Admirals step up search for new coach to replace Perry

Perry's decision to quit the city American football club topped a disappointing period for the Admirals.
Soon afterwards, Admirals said they would be unable to fulfill their last two fixtures of the season because of a lack of players.
Injuries and unavailabilities had left the Admirals dangerously short of cover.
But club officials – who have already made it clear that the club will not be folding – said that they are looking to bounce back for next year's Division Two South West season, which will mark Admirals 25th anniversary.
In a statement put out by the club's committee, Admirals said they were looking for an applicant with previous coaching experience.
They said that it was clear the club has the potential to be competitive.
The committee added: "This has been clear to see at times in the past two seasons and with the support of a fresh committee the opportunity to progress is there. We need a head coach with the vision to make it happen."
Admirals normally train on Sundays and will have access to a newly-laid grass pitch, two indoor sports halls, a gym and weights rooms, state of the art classrooms and an astroturf area.
The club added: "As well as stocks of player equipment, the club also has most other standard training equipment.
"A major grant application has recently been submitted which, if successful, will significantly boost all these areas as well as enhancing the club's appearance, game-day experience and marketing."
Admirals committee members said any applications would be treated with the 'utmost discretion'.
