Albion pair out of league opener

Both players sustained injuries in last Saturday's 13-10 pre-season friendly win over Neath and were forced off the field in the first half.
Marriott turned his ankle after 23 minutes of the clash and was replaced by Danny Thomas.
Childs dislocated his right shoulder in the first minute of first half added-on time and was stretchered off, with Jamie Tripcony taking his place.
Albion's chairman of rugby Graham Dawe admitted Childs could be out for at least four weeks.
Although Marriott's injury is less serious, he is still not expected to be available for the league opener this weekend.
"Kyle is on crutches, although he can put weight on his ankle," said Dawe.
"But I would imagine he would be extremely doubtful for Saturday's match.
"Jake did dislocate his shoulder against Neath, but it has now been put back into position.
"The original diagnosis was that Jake is expected to be out for anything between four to six weeks.
"But it might be even longer than that."
"To lose two back-row players in the same half of a match is tough to take," added Dawe.
Dawe now has to decide which two players will come into the side for the visit of Coventry this weekend.
The most likely candidates are Thomas and Tripcony, as well as summer signing Wayne Sprangle.
Sprangle did not feature last weekend as he was out of the country, but he will be back for Saturday's clash.
Dawe, however, insisted he will leave the decision as to who replaces Marriott and Childs until later in the week.
"We will just have to wait and see," said Dawe, when asked who will start alongside Mike Denbee in the back-row.
Meanwhile, former Waterloo fly-half Alex Davies – who was on the bench for both of last weekend's games against Neath and Mounts Bay – has still not agreed a deal with the club.
However, Dawe has hinted that a deal could yet be brokered in the not too distant future.
"We are still assessing Alex and we will make a decision in due course," said Dawe.
