Police have now formally identified the deceased man as 33-year-old Keith Dance.

Police said Mr Dance died as a result of suffering multiple injuries, although the specifics of those wounds have yet to be released.

Investigators had previously revealed that the two suspects and their alleged victim were known to each other.

Gollop, of Molesworth Road, and Cooke, of Victoria Place, were remanded into police custody following charge yesterday.

Both are expected to appear at Plymouth Magistrates Court sometime this morning.
