Two to appear at Plymouth magistrates jointly charged with murder of a Stoke man
A MAN and a woman were today due to appear before magistrates charged with murdering a Stoke man in his own home.
Jacqueline Cooke, aged 29, and Ian Gollop aged 50 were arrested following the discovery of a man's body at a flat in a multi-occupancy building in Molesworth Road on Tuesday shortly after 1am.
Police have now formally identified the deceased man as 33-year-old Keith Dance.
Police said Mr Dance died as a result of suffering multiple injuries, although the specifics of those wounds have yet to be released.
Investigators had previously revealed that the two suspects and their alleged victim were known to each other.
Gollop, of Molesworth Road, and Cooke, of Victoria Place, were remanded into police custody following charge yesterday.
Both are expected to appear at Plymouth Magistrates Court sometime this morning.
