Youngsters are licenced to thrill
Wearing beautiful dresses supplied by PB Gowns, Tamerton Foliot, and Drop Dead Gorgeous, Plymstock, the teens oozed Bond girl sophistication.
The bright blue, pink and white gowns looked fabulous in the early summer sunshine and the deep purple and black dresses gave an air of sophistication to the evening. Each dress was beautifully detailed, helping to add to the overall impact of the collection.
And the star of the show, looking every inch the secret agent in his black tuxedo from Jon Saberton, was Anthony Brown.
The teens were dressed to impress during a James Bond themed evening when they also enjoyed non-alcoholic mocktails and games of poker.
It was the brainchild of youth library group Headspace.
Emma Sherriff, library outreach officer, said: "Headspace is for young people aged 11 to 19 who come along to the library, chill out and organise their own events and projects that link back to reading in some way, like Ian Fleming's James Bond.
"The girls all wore very glamorous and sophisticated dresses and they were very excited about posing in them.
"They had their hair done by local hairdressers and make-up by make-up artist Josie Lock.
"And they had a great time looking at and trying on all the dresses, there was so much choice."
