Champ aiming to revisit city glory

Haskins, who fought and won on three occasions at the Pavilions, outpointed holder Andy Bell to claim the British super-flyweight title last Friday night.
In a gruelling 12-rounder at Wigan's Robin Park Centre, the charismatic West Countryman scored a unanimous win over Nottingham's Bell.
Now the 24-year-old said he would be pulling out the shots in order to renew his rapport with Plymouth fight fans and also enjoy the five-fight card.
Bristolian Haskins has fond memories of contests in Plymouth and vowed to do his best to keep his Saturday date.
He told Herald Sport: "I really liked fighting down in Plymouth, the atmosphere was great and the fans were always very good and supportive towards me.
"I had only just got into my career and was fighting as support when Scott (Dann) was winning championships.
"There was always good banter down there, and the shows were packed out even though the fights were shown live on Sky Sports.
"So, yes, it would be really nice to come back, even for just a night, as I reckon the city is a lucky place for me.
"I kept knocking people out there."
The former Commonwealth flyweight champion's recall is spot on as in 2005 and 2006, he enjoyed considerable success, stopping opponents for fun – his not theirs.
As chief support to Dann's British and Commonwealth middleweight title triumphs, Haskins knocked over Andrzej Ziora in one round in April 2005 and followed that with a two-round demolition of Delroy Spencer in September of the same year.
His final appearance at the Pavilions came in February 2007, when he took out Anthony Mathias in round two.
On view for Haskins and the home fans tomorrow night will be headline acts middleweights Carl Drake and Paul Brown.
The pair are supported by fellow Plymothians David 'Dezzy' O'Connor and Gavin Brook and also Ben Wakeham on Chris Sanigar's promotion.
Brown takes on experienced London-based Latvian Gatis Skuja, with Drake coming up against Simon Fleck, both fights scheduled for six rounds.
Fast-improving and crowd-pleasing lightweight O'Connor faces Ibrar Riyaz, while Cosmo Gym middleweight Brook makes his home bow against Geraint Harvey.
At welterweight, Torquay's Ben Wakeham will be aiming to stretch his unbeaten career start to three victories against Johnny Greaves.
