Two-car collision on A38
RUSH-hour traffic queues built up on the A38 after two cars were in collision on their way into Plymouth.
The cars collided on the in-bound carriageway at Deep Lane, in Plympton, yesterday morning.
No one was hurt in the crash, which happened at 8.47am near the landmark, but out of date, 'Plymouth – Spirit of Discovery' sign.
However, an ambulance crew attended, along with police and fire teams.

One of the cars involved, a Plymouth-registered silver Honda Accord, ended up in the central reservation.
The driver, a Plymouth man in his 30s, was "reported for driving without due care and attention," a police spokeswoman said.
The other, a city-registered red Vauxhall Zafira, was badly damaged and seen by witnesses parked at the side of the busy road.
Police were last night piecing together what happened, and trying to ascertain whether the Zafira may have left the road and hit a tree.
The inside lane was closed for more than an hour, finally opening at around 11am.
Traffic built up along the stretch as recovery crews worked at the scene.
