Two remain in hospital after serious crash

TWO women remain in hospital with serious injuries after a crash on the A388 between Kelly Bray and Callington.

The collision took place at around 9.05pm on Thursday night and involved a blue Ford Galaxy and a blue Renault Clio.

The driver of the Clio, a 21-year-old woman from Essex and her passenger were taken to Derriford Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the Galaxy, a 36-year-old woman from the Launceston area, received minor injuries.

Two women had to be cut from their cars by firefighters and police today said they were both still in hospital.

Appliances from Saltash and Bodmin were called to the scene.
