THE following cases have been dealt with by Plymouth magistrates:

MATTHEW JOHN COX, aged 23, of Amados Drive, Plymouth: Driving with excess alcohol – £250 fine, to pay £15 surcharge and £43 court costs, 17 months driving ban.

LUKE PATTERSON, aged 18, of Albert Road, Plymouth: Using racially aggravated threatening or abusive words or behaviour – £75 fine, to pay £15 surcharge and £150 court costs.

STEPHEN MATTHEW ANDREWS, aged 36, of Dairy Lane, Ivybridge: Two charges of assault, breach of a suspended sentence order – to pay £250 compensation, one month curfew to stay indoors on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 7pm to 7am.

DALE HOGG, aged 45, of Westfield, Plymouth: Threatening or provoking unlawful violence – £1,250 fine, to pay £15 surcharge and £75 court costs.

BEN RON WOOD, aged 21, of Eastbury Avenue, Honicknowle, Plymouth: Three charges of shoplifting, possession of cannabis – 12 months supervision order, six month drug rehabilitation requirement, to pay £45 court costs.

GERALD PETER HOLDEN, aged 51, of Embankment Road, Plymouth: Breach of an anti-social behaviour order – eight months conditional discharge, to pay £60 court costs.

STEPHEN BALLING, aged 41, of Woodland Drive, Plympton, Plymouth: Driving with excess alcohol, fail to supply a specimen of breath for analysis, Two charges of driving while disqualified and no insurance – four months imprisonment, suspended for 18 months, to attend an addressing substance related offending programme, 18 months supervision order, three year driving ban, to pay £60 court costs.

JAMES KIMBERLEY WILLIAM PAYNE, aged 51, of Brancker Road, Milehouse, Plymouth: Driving with excess alcohol – 12 months supervision order, to carry out 150 hours unpaid work in the community, to pay £60 court costs, 24 months driving ban.

ADRIAN ROBERT POPE, aged 30, of Albert Road, Devonport, Plymouth: Shoplifting, two similar offences admitted and taken into consideration – 12 months supervision order, six month drug rehabilitation requirement, to pay £35 compensation.

LAURA CATHERINE STONE, aged 18, of Haddington Road, Stoke, Plymouth: Assault – 12 months conditional discharge, to pay £50 compensation.

CRAIG GIFFORD, aged 27, of Ringmore Way, West Park, Plymouth: Shoplifting, possession of cannabis, breach of conditional discharge – £100 fine, to pay £15 surcharge and £20 court costs.

CRAIG GIFFORD, aged 27, of Ringmore Way, West Park, Plymouth: Using threatening or abusive words or behaviour, criminal damage, fail to surrender to custody – 12 months conditional discharge, to pay £67.36 compensation.

PHILIP JOHN MARK CHESHIRE, aged 33, of no fixed address: Breach of anti-social behaviour order – sent to prison for 12 weeks.

MARTIN JOHN HOPKINS, aged 31, of Park Avenue, Plymouth: Possession of a blade in public – sent to prison for eight weeks.

RYAN LEE CUNNINGHAM, aged 27, of Hawkinge Gardens, Plymouth: Criminal damage, shoplifting, failing to surrender to custody – six months supervision order, to pay £125 compensation.

TONY MCDONOUGH, aged 22, of Fore Street, Devonport, Plymouth: Theft, drunk and disorderly – 12 months conditional discharge, to pay £40 compensation.

PAUL ANTHONY PALMER, aged 36, of Penrith Walk, Plymouth: Shoplifting – 12 months supervision order, six month drug rehabilitation requirement, to pay £43 court costs.

PHILLIP THOMAS, aged 27, of King Street, Plymouth: Using threatening or abusive words or behaviour – £160 fine, to pay £15 surcharge and £43 court costs.

ROBERT JAMES HARRIS, aged 20, of Hoegate Street, Plymouth: Criminal damage – 18 months conditional discharge, to pay £30 court costs.

SAUL NICHOLLS, aged 24, of Admiralty Street, Keyham, Plymouth: Racially aggravated intentional harassment, breach of a conditional discharge – to carry out 60 hours unpaid work in the community, to pay £43 court costs.

SONIA HALL, aged 29, of High Street, Stonehouse, Plymouth: Possession of cannabis, possession of amphetamine – 18 months conditional discharge.

MICHAEL KAMINSKI, aged 23, of Embankment Road, Plymouth: Driving whilst unfit through drink, no insurance – to carry out 80 hours unpaid work in the community, to pay £42 court costs, 24 months driving ban.
