The court heard how Reilly – Mohamad Abdulaziz Rashid Saeed-Alim – appeared to accept this claim – although some of his names have no obvious link with 9/11.
Mohamed Atta was the Egyptian Islamist ringleader of the 19 hijackers.
Abdulaziz al-Omari was a Saudi Arabian believed to be onboard American Airlines Flight 11.
Saeed al-Ghamdi was a Saudi Arabian aboard United Airlines Flight 93.
Reilly also showed his fascination for the bombing, keeping numerous clips of the moments the airliners struck the Twin Towers.
In addition he had clips – easily downloaded from a popular video sharing site – showing how to make bombs, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Unusually for someone who found the West so repulsive, he also kept clips of middle-of-the-road female music stars, including the Canadian songstress Celine Dion. His usersite was finally shut down by the website's administrators the day after he pleaded guilty last month.
