Still denied
PRESENTLY, eight out of every 10 registered voters in Great Britain have never voted on the United Kingdom's European Union membership.
I believe it is now a near certainty both the Conservative and Labour Parties will pledge in forthcoming manifestos that if re-elected at the next General Election, they will give the British public a referendum on EU membership. Sounds all too familiar to me. Conservative core voters have laid down the gauntlet for EU Referendum squarely at the feet of the present Government, yet they still refuse to pick up the glove. Talk of renegotiation of EU membership is of little consequence to the wider public. Without a date set for a referendum in this parliament by this Government, I believe the ascent of UKIP will continue and Labour will play out the pledge game.
Whether it is to be within a European Union or not, are the British people to be continually denied their democratic right to determine the United Kingdom's future identity and laws?

“Archbishop: Will you solemnly promise and swear to govern the Peoples of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland...according to their respective laws and customs?
Queen Elizabeth: I solemnly promise so to do.
Giving Royal Assent to European treaties that have abolished England/UK as an independent sovereign nation IS NOT governing ones people according to their respective laws and customs.
Flag waving sycophant I am not, i'm sorry. Our 'establishment' are treasonous traitors to my people, the people of Devon, of England.
Their day of judgement is coming.”

“Audesapere. Explain your treason gibe. Firstly an act of a lawfully elected government within it's powers and not in breach of international law is good law and van bind. Secondly the unelected monarch does not sign or approve treaties made by her government. Look again at the oaths on accession and coronation. No treason here.”

“@josdave
do you think it might be suggested the penguin takes off his very dark glasses before he reads this piece. I took off my rose tinted ones they normally are off when reading about the frightfulness that emanates from Bruxelles! No wonder its icon is a pi**ing boy but sadly all over us!”

“Just a thought
is'nt the Govt trying to push through Industrial Relations Laws to the effect that if there is not a minimum turn out/quorom then a stike vote is invalid?
Why can't we have similar provisions regarding any vote trying to bind us to EU Regulations?”

“Every party has its faults and UKIP is no exception but they have my vote as the ONLY party willing to take us out of this shambles Brussells calls a union. All you who vote for the three main parties are voting to keep ujs in and see what little sovereignty we have left whiottled away so that Parliament will have no purpose at all as anything important will be done by dictat from Brussells. If there are any Lib Dem supporters left they should be reminded that they would have had us in the eurozone - what a disaster that was from day one.”

“Well willems im glad you said that because i also believe beliefs cannot be easily sold out..... like the extreme right wing beliefs like those of your some of your leadership and certain members, you know the ones with links or past associations with the bnp, national front etc, those beliefs dont disappear or `get sold out` overnight heh heh”
