Why didn't bus stop in the pouring rain?
I HAVE two queries. One is the circular bus route number 5. Is it OK for the driver to sail past the request stop between Dartmoor View and Heathfield Road, ignoring the potential passengers? This bus was due at 6pm, it sailed past at 6.10pm with the notice "Not in Service". This was in pouring rain.
The second is the rotten, years old scaffolding clinging limpet-like to the outside of (I think) number 10, Mount Gould Road, holding up the house or is the house holding up the scaffolding?

“Ann Tucker, if a bus says Not in Service on the front it means exactly that. What bit of it dont you understand???????
You must lead a very sad life if all you can do is write to the "power and might" of the local newspaper to complain about that and some scaffolding on someone's house. Might it not have occurred to you that the person who owns the property might be having some work carried out?
As for the Herald itself, I know it wishes (allegedly) to give balanced views but publishing what equates almost to a personal attack on someone is totally out of order.”

“It's pretty obvious that the letter write is an obnoxious r sole but what were the Herald doing publishing a personal attack?
A complaint to the Press Complaints Council sounds in order.”

“yes ann please provide me with your address as you have so willing disclosed my address for the whole of plymouth to see.... and if you really must know the reason as to why the rotten scaffolding remains outside the house then please feel free to come knock and we shall update you.... and im pretty sure when all our xmas decorations that we display every year you werent quick to moan about the ROTTEN scaffolding helping to display them was there! as many people have always enjoyed walking past our house every year to see them! so please feel free to display some more of your rudeness towards me one of the people actually living at this address!!!”

“Why don't you provide your address Ann so we can all waste our lives standing outside your house and criticise your home, then post it for the rest of Plymouth to read. Seriously.... get a life!!! People live in that house, it is there home, they have feelings. Your utter rudeness is not required. Also as pp have said if it says not in service.....that might provide a clue that it was perhaps not the bus you were expecting.”

“Not in service is exactly what it says and if you don't understand what it means I suggest you shouldn't be out and about anyway.”

“not in service means just that, not in service....theres a lot of buses in the city ann did it not come to you that that may not have been the bus you were looking for anyway? if it was on that route it wouldn't have had not in service posted up.”
