“VIABLE were never asking for public funding. This is a spin to scare longer. Very misleading to make Plymouth rate payers think their council tax will rise by 30% if they supported the reopening of the airport. Shame on the Herald for not allowing anyone to pass comment.”

“22nd May Another airport story that does not allow comments.....
this time about Sutton harbour Group's latest attempt to prevent the re-opening of the airport that it was paid to run but deliberately destroyed instead.
Presumably, now that the protective cover of Viv has gone they no longer feel the need to even pretend to give a fig about Plymouth.
Surely this obscene company can be prosecuted for something, the whole airport saga is very dubious. Their complete lack of morality is offensive. The company and it's directors should be run out of Plymouth.”

“A public inquiry needs to throughly investigate what has on earth has been going on between the Council and SHH.
SHH have been given carte blanche to asset strip and make money out of an enterprise which they never intended to make a going concern of in the first instance.
It is very strange that a leaseholder has been allowed to sell the land they are renting.
Also why are the Herald suppressing all debate about the issue?”
