“I can understand why you would be upset and angry at the loss of your friends. But lets be vey clear the vast majority of people did not and will never support the acts of a few small minded people who used violence to intimidate and kill people.
We shoulkd never allow the act of thefew to tarnish the names of the many. Rember when we see a news item, naming a soldier who has died in a conflict, Im sure you dont think I wonder if heis from Northern reland, Scotland, Wales or England.
You mourn the fact the one of our lads has died serving his country.
As for St Patricks day its celebrated world wide, peope come out listen to music and enjoy hemselvs. I would also supportthe idea of celbrating St George day so maybe the hrald should stat a campaign at loal pubs and get them onboard.”
“WHY do English people want to support St Paddy's day? Why not party on St Georges day?
Last time I went to Ireland one mate got shot, and two more blown up by A bomb.
So St Paddy please go home as us English realy don't want to know you.
Thanks but ummm NO THANKS”
