An extraordinary work of both cinematic and political activism, the 5 broken cameras of the title belong to Emad Burnat; a Palestinian farmer in the village of Bil’in. The first was intended to document the life of his family following the birth of his son, Burnat is soon turning the camera on the Israeli settlers and aggressive Israeli army building on their land.
Screening 7pm Jill Craigie Cinema, Roland Levinsky Building, University of Plymouth
