“AA and it's splinter groups are a recognized Cult.

You cannot succeed in AA (or it's affiliates) without first surrendering your will to god first.
If you do not believe in god, they will take advantage of your vulnerable state to Force you into being a believer...They don't even care what god you pick, so long as you surrender your logic and reason.
Once they have you in this trap, they NEVER LET YOU GO, and will insist that you are always an addict. (this irresponsible and callous attitude is what drives most people to fail.)

They also peddle the LIE that Addiction is an illness...It is not. No recognized and respected medical body accepts Addiction as an illness. A behavioral disorder perhaps, but not an illness.
Cancer is an illness...Alzheimer's is an illness...Addiction is not...You don't take any medicine for it...It has no symptoms. It can make you sick, but that is something different entirely.

If you try rehabilitating by yourself, you have a 5% chance of success.
If you try rehabilitating through An AA group...you have a 5% chance of success...You won't find this information on any AA group site, because they refuse for this reason to publish their figures for public scrutiny.

If you want to straighten up, go and see your doctor!”
