Award-winning Ethiopian dancers Junaid Jemal Sendi and Addissu Demissie return to Plymouth to perform new work by Dam Van Huynh alongside the striking duet A Holding Space choreographed by Adam Benjamin and Russell Maliphant. The new work explores Dam Van Huynh's unique vision of everyday life and people, and the manner in which dance can access a deeper layer of consciousness. A Holding Space explores the idea of journeys both real and imaginary coming together – the journey of creation and friendships across two continents meeting in a singular and very powerful duet.
