Anyone up for a Dip in the sea on January 1st? If the answer is yes then why not Join us for a 2pm Dip at the beach at Bovisand Park, Down Thomas. The Dip is being organised by Horizons Children's Sailing Charity and the Chestnut Appeal for Prostate Cancer who hope that people will take up the challenge and start 2013 with a Bracing Dip. All dippers must wear something! Anything goes although a swimming costume must be worn. And we ask that all dippers pay a donation of £2 and there are some fines in place like the wearing of a shorty wetsuit penalty - £5 and wearing of a full wetsuit penalty - £10. There is plenty of free car parking and a cafe on site that will be open. Horizons will be providing safety cover in the form of one of their ribs.
All dippers partaking do so entirely at their own risk.
