Plymouth Community Choir is actively recruiting new members. The choir has an inspiring new leader from Jan 2012, Alison Whittall, who has lots of experience - come along. You'll love it! FREE Taster Session.
The choir is based in the Unitarian Church Hall, Notte St, Plymouth PL1 2AQ and meets on Monday nights from 6.45 til 8.45pm. There is wheelchair access.
We sing rounds and songs from all over the world and everyone is welcome. We also sing gospel, contemporary, pop and sacred music. Everything is taught by ear, in bit-size chunks, building up harmonies part by part. No previous experience is necessary and new members are always welcome - men and women alike.
The choir also does occasional local performances.
