Plymouth Punx Picnic

Annual Plymouth Music event held over three days returning for its 17th year:

Friday 7th September (Eve) – Porters Pub, 21 Looe Street, Plymouth PL4 0EA
Saturday 8th September (Eve) – Porters Pub, 21 Looe Street, Plymouth PL4 0EA
Sunday 9th September (Afternoon/Eve) – Nowhere Inn, 21 Gilwell Street, PL4 8BU

plus Picnic meet-up on Plymouth Hoe 3pm Saturday (Bring your own sandwiches!) and after show parties at the Nowhere Inn on Friday and Saturday nights.

Headline Bands: 'Eastfield', 'S Punk' and 'The Eyelids' – a total of twenty bands playing wide genres of classic and modern punk and punk related genres. Whatever style you prefer there will be something for you to enjoy with a wide range of like minded people.

Entry to all events is free - beer will need to be paid for!

2012 sees the 17th 'Plymouth Punx Picnic' event, since it first started in 1996 and it has taken place every single year since, in a wide variety of venues around Plymouth. Every year sees Punk fans old and new, young and old descend from all over Plymouth, the surrounding area and many areas further afield (national and international!).

The fun, laid back, no attitude atmosphere combined with great bands and quality 'refreshments' always delivers a high quality underground event. Often shunned by the mainstream it doesn't stop hundreds of people every year having a great time in Plymouth. Punx Picnics happen every year all over the UK and the world and Plymouth is one of the most successful and longest running.

Safety pins, bondage trousers, mohawks and ripped T-shirts are welcome but not mandatory; a positive attitude is however required!
