The Maximum Rhythm 'N' Blues tour promises to treat you to some top British R'n'B talent.
Manfred Mann members Paul Jones, Mike D'Abo, Tom McGuinness, Simon Currie, Wayne Elliot, Rob Townsend and Mike Hugg are reunited to run out their hits including If You Gotta Go, Go Now, Do Wah Diddy Diddy, 5-4-3-2-1 and Mighty Quinn.
Joining the Manfreds are Alan Price and Maggie Bell.
Price is one of the best-loved British singer-songwriters of the 20th century and has enjoyed a successful career in music, film and theatre spanning over 40 years.
Initially a founder member of The Animals, Price has gone on to enjoy a great solo career with I Put A Spell On You, Simon Smith And His Amazing Dancing Bear, The House That Jack Built and a memorable score for Lindsay Anderson's O Lucky Man! among the highlights.
Returning for her second consecutive tour is Maggie Bell, former vocalist with Stone The Crows and winner of the 1971 Melody Maker readers' poll for Best Female Vocalist.
Maggie was hailed at the time as the British Janis Joplin and managed by the celebrated Peter Grant, Led Zeppelin's manager. She cut her first solo album, Queen Of The Night, with Jerry Wexler and her soulful voice has seen Bell work with Jimmy Page, Denny Laine, The Who, Rod Stewart and BA Robertson, among others.
The tour hits Plymouth Pavilions on October 17.
