"In the summer Elbow Jane gave us magnificent arrangements and astonishing songs to tear the soul and warm the heart and were undoubtedly one of the best bands I've seen at FOTM.

"In the autumn Bob Fox the loveliest voice in folk, with Billy Mitchell from Lindisfarne, proved they were true masters of the art of entertainment, then in the winter came Clive Carroll, one of the most virtuosic of guitarists…

"Whetting my musical appetite for 2010 in January is Jim Moray who has concocted truly original versions of pieces from the tradition.

"Then In May, comes Nancy Kerr and James Fagan, the husband and wife duo who write utterly lovely songs and then present them with true vigour.

"In June we have Vin Garbutt, brave, bold and brilliant, he's in my all time top five!

"And in November, Anthony John Clarke, who delivers songs to run through all the emotions…"
