The support group is raising funds to help refurbish the barrier room on Birch cancer ward in Derriford Hospital.
Monica Palmer, group secretary, said: "It was a great day with a constant stream of people coming through.
"We've been going for about two years since September. Myeloma is not a very well known form of cancer, so we set up the group to raise awareness of it and also to support those who suffer it."
The group also helps the families of those affected by myeloma.
It is based in Plymouth, but members come from across the area, including Launceston, Callington and the South Hams.
