The festival takes place on September 4 in Downhorn Park and Plymstock Community Centre, from 11am to 4.30pm.
It will be opened by the Lord Mayor of Plymouth, Cllr Mary Aspinall, and Lady Mayoress Kate Aspinall.
Refreshments will be available throughout the day. Laira Youth Band will be playing on Plymstock Broadway from 11am and will be on the stage in Downhorn Park during the afternoon.
Dartmoor Border Morris Dancers will be performing during the afternoon in the community centre and the Plymstock Photography group will be displaying some of its works in the centre's Jack Wigmore Room.
Another organiser, Vicky Hingston, said: "This year, for the first time, there will be a Punch and Judy show with two performances: midday to 1pm, and 3pm to 4pm.
"As in previous years, a magician will be entertaining the children between 1pm and 3pm.
"There will also be junior go-karts and paintballing, salsa dancing performances and a tug of war between local pubs.
"Live music will be provided by Live Sound Promotion, Let's Get Famous, The Diamonds and Classic Sounds.
"The Guide Association, which is celebrating 100 years of Guiding this year, will be displaying old uniforms and badges, organising a treasure hunt and singing.
"As in previous years Gables Farm Cats' and Dogs' Home will be organising a family dog show which has always proved popular.
"This will commence at midday with prizes awarded for the various classes," she added.
A children's painting competition will be held with a 'summer holidays' theme. Paintings can be submitted on the day, by midday.
Ms Hingston said: "This is a really great day of fun and excitement for all the family so we do hope that local groups and people will support this event." There is space available for any group to book a stall. Contact the organisers on 01752 405132 or 404052.
