Joe, who now works at the Elite salon in Liskeard, visited the college's Saltash campus where he gave a demonstration for other budding hairdressers.
He said: "It was really good to be able to visit the college and have the opportunity to talk to the groups about what I've achieved since finishing my course.

"The college gave me a fantastic foundation and the skills I needed to be able to progress within the industry and now to be enjoying a successful career in the local area."
Joe's former tutor, Clare Wade, said: "It was great to get in contact with Joe and to be able to invite him to come in and talk to our current students about his experiences and time in the industry since leaving college.
"The group really got a lot out of watching him in action and having the opportunity to ask questions about life in the industry."
Head of college Andrew Counsell said: "I think what Joe has achieved really highlights the way our courses prepare students for work. He has achieved a great deal of success for someone of his age and it was a pleasure to be able to invite him to Saltash to talk to our current students."
