whilst on one hand housing is needed badly can our crumbling inadequate road system cope with it, the simple answer is not on your life. First job that needs to be done is improve our infrastructure so all the traffic hell caused by ridiculous schemes like cattedown fiasco is put right. First the bus lane thing is something else the rush hours i agree with in a few places not all, but the rest of the time a waste of useable road surface. Not to mention the potholes, make our road system work for the next century that is a real challenge. For attracting investment in the town. Our city centre is fadeing fast because town shopping is now an expensive unappealing experience out of town is best. No traffic jams, overpriced parking, no risk of getting fined on the trivial mines our council has planted at great expense. To get more cash for hair brain non practical road schemes that solve nothing but generate more frustration at our shopping experience.Their answer build more houses so rich men can make more money stuff the rest of us on our daily misery journeys, so how can that help only make things a whole lot worse. Just think how much money could be saved by turning off the traffic lights from twelve to six in morning hardly a sole around lights are definately wasted at these times especially on round abouts. Why the light and not the speed bump on the round about at the entrances to make those on round about use them as they were intended a filter there are a few improvements. There are many more things like that which would help our road system work better, lets have a man that can come up with the solutions to this major problem which can only end in grid lock without action now!
