Tremorvah Industries, a business unit within Adult Care and Support, is a supported business whose mission is to maximise employment and development opportunities for people with a disability in supported environments. Although probably best known as a mobility centre selling wheelchairs, stairlifts, scooters and a huge range of daily living aids. Tremorvah also has a workshop that allows the engineering department to service and repair all mobility vehicles in house and offer a hire fleet of manual wheelchairs and scooters. The textiles department not only manufactures a range of Cornish wear but has a very busy designer to create logos and emblems for customising sports, leisure and work wear for local clubs and employers. Tremorvah has state of the art embroidery machines and transfer printing applications. Tremorvah's security and assistive technology departments offer the latest in electric and electronic gadgetry to make an independent life at home safe for clients with conditions ranging from Alzheimers and epilepsy and give peace of mind to their carers. Tremorvah's assistive Technology department is also host to The Memory Cafe. Twice a month it offers activities for alzheimers sufferers and a chance for carers to meet fellow carers. We also are able to hire and lease Mobility equipment such as wheelchairs and walking frames with rates to suit your pocket.
We are always pleased to offer unbiased advice on mobility matters, such as choosing the right wheelchair or scooter. Choosing mobility equipment can be difficult and here at Tremorvah we beleve it is essential that you have the use of a suitably qualified and experienced assessor so that you and your environment can be assessed.
