Three men to face trial over assault charge
THREE men accused of a serious assault are due to face a trial before a judge and jury.
Stephen Hunter, aged 41, David Owen, aged 46, and 35-year-old Darren Poole are jointly accused of assaulting a man causing actual bodily harm.
Each man denied the attack on Marl Oliver on June 5 when they appeared at Plymouth Crown Court.
Poole and Hunter, both of the same address in Molesworth Road, Stoke, and Owen, of Canefields Avenue, Plympton, were released on bail until the trial due to start on March 5.
