First new jazz lunch on Plymouth Hoe sees good turnout
The arrangers of a series of jazz luncheons at The Corinthian Yacht Club on Plymouth Hoe said the first event saw good crowds, but there was definitely room for more people.
"The first event was hailed a success on the rare sunny January day. There were about 40 at the club, including some swing dancers, but we hope for more when the word gets around," organiser Elaine Keith-Hill said.

The next lunchtime jazz event is on Sunday 24th of February at The Corinthian, and will feature vocalist Michael Lawrence singing songs made famous by Frank Sinatra and now Michael Buble.
