Plymouth firm runs security at Jade's funeral

A SOUTH West security firm has been contracted to keep the paparazzi at bay during reality star Jade Goody's funeral on Saturday.

Eliminate Risk was approached by a contact of PR guru Max Clifford. Its crowd control experts will escort Ms Goody's cortege from the housing estate where she grew up in Bermondsey, South London to St John's Church in Buckhurst Hill, Essex, where the funeral is to be held.

The firm, established in Torquay and relocating to Plymouth's Forrester Business Park this month, is to supply 15 and 20 security personnel for the funeral.

They will also escort close family members home from the service and private burial and keep crowds a respectful distance from Ms Goody's family home during the evening.
