Security firm's success leads to move
Dogwatch Security Limited, which now employs four people, has moved from Manadon Park to bigger premises in Roborough.
Managing director Keith Hall, who now runs the company with his wife Debbie, said Dogwatch had acquired contracts patrolling schools and building sites at night, and had succeeded in tackling vandalism and theft issues affecting two major building contractors.
He said dogs were at the heart of the company's success, allowing them to operate at a highly competitive price.
"Dogs hear 1,000 times better than humans and have got a very good sense of anybody who is round a corner."
The company also operates two mobile patrols with human security guards.
